Hello everyone! Today is the first blog hop day for LDRS Creative’s new release! This time around, each day has a theme and today’s is flowers! LDRS Creative has some gorgeous floral stamps! Here’s a bit about the first day of the new release and blog hop:
Be ready for our Big, Big, BIG new collection! You can even see them in action with step-by-step projects by our amazing designers on their blogs and our own LDRS Creative Youtube channel (make sure you subscribe).
Each of our four days will feature a new theme featured in this fabulous release.
Day 1 is all about FLOWERS and more!

We know how much flowers can be versatile for any crafting project, so we added three full sets of stamps and dies. Whether you like coloring or layering with inks, our three new sets will definitely be a big hit in your craft room: Hydrangeas (with its coordinating die set), Cherry Blossoms (coordinating die set available!), Sunny Meadow – Petal Pusher (and the brand new concept of Petal Pusher die set!).

We also continued adding to our wonderful Basic dies line: At the Cloud’s Edge Die, By the Light of the Moon Die Set, Up a Tree Die Set, Scalloped Circle Frame Set, Practically Square Frame Set, Garden Gateway Die Set, Garden Wreath Die Set. They fit with all of our products, so don’t miss on them!

We also have some new things going on in the new Paper Product section, with a brand new all-in-one stencil called A Walk in the Park – 6×6 Stencil.
Winners will be announced on the LDRS Creative inspiration blog and Instagram page on September 17, 2019.
I decided to use the new Hydrangeas set for my project. It is so much fun to color!

I stamped the flowers and leaves onto Bristol Smooth cardstock with Watermark Ink and embossed with white embossing powder. I used my Zigs to color everything, softening lines and colors with a wet paintbrush as needed.

I used the Scalloped Borders die to cut a piece of navy cardstock and added a strip of woodgrain paper from the new Sweater Weather paper pad to make an A2 card front. I then splattered white and gold acrylic paint across the background and adhered my flowers and leaves, popping a few up with foam tape for dimension.

I finished with the “Happy” embossed in gold on navy cardstock and the “you make me” from the Beautiful Blooms set embossed in white and all popped up with foam tape.
