Pinkfresh Studio March 2020 Essentials Slim Cuts Release Blog Hop

Hello friends! And if you are new to my blog, welcome! I’m so happy you are here! Today I am so excited to be participating in a blog hop for the new Pinkfresh Studio Slim Cuts release! I love slimline cards, so I am super pumped for this release! If you are hopping along, you should have arrived here from the super talented Angelica Conrad!

This post is a bit longer than my usual ones, because I have two cards to share with you today! Make sure to read all the way to the bottom for details on how to win some great prizes from Pinkfresh Studio!

For my first card, I used the new Slim Diagonal Stitched Rectangles to cut a panel from white cardstock. I blended Ocean Breeze and Aquamarine inks for a nice soft aqua background.

I stamped the flowers from Floral Cluster and the bow and vase from Floral Vase on cold press watercolor paper and painted with Pinkfresh Studio Liquid Watercolors. I die cut my images and arranged them on the card, popping the flowers up with foam tape.

I finished the card with aqua jewels and a sentiment from Floral Vase stamped in black. This sentiment is so perfect for the current time!

For my second card, I blended Peach Fuzz and Coral Reef inks onto white cardstock then splattered it with watered down gold acrylic paint. Once it dried, I die cut the piece using Slim Fancy Diagonal Stripes and added it to a white base.

I stamped the flowers from Floral Vase and the vine from Leafy Decor twice each in VersaMark ink and embossed with gold. I used several different Pinkfresh Studio inks as watercolors to paint my images, then die cut them out. I splattered the images with more gold paint before adding them to my card, popping one up with foam tape.

I used the Beautiful Word die once on metallic gold cardstock and twice on white. I stacked the die cuts together for one dimensional word. I added a small sentiment from Leafy Decor that I stamped on a strip of white cardstock in VersaMark ink and embossed with gold. I finished with a few light yellow jewels scattered around the card.

To celebrate the new release, Pinkfresh Studio is offering two special shipping deals if you order from the website this week! Make sure you use the right code based on your location!

And, finally. What you’ve been waiting for. The giveaways! Pinkfresh Studio will be giving away the full release on their blog and Instagram! Make sure you stop by to enter! And they are also giving away a $25 gift card at EACH blog stop! So please comment below to be entered for the prize from my blog! And of course, comment at each of the other wonderful ladies’ blogs for a chance to win there and to give them some love!

Winners will be announced on the Pinkfresh Studio Giveaway Page on Monday, March 30th, so you have until then to enter! If you win, make sure to claim your prize within two weeks or they may have to re-pick.

  3. I like the use of the longer cards to feature these designs. The vase looks great and so does the floral vines.

  4. Both cards are really gorgeous. I love your choice of sentiments for them. I’ve always loved slimline cards. You all have provided so much inspiration. I don’t think this is a trend we’ll see go anywhere anytime soon. TFS
