Hello friends! It’s finally release day at Reverse Confetti! Time to grab all those goodies we’ve been sneaking for you the last few days! Today, we have one last inspiration hop to highlight the new release. I’ve combined my two favorite sets with a rainbow background for a slightly unconventional holiday card. But really, who says rainbows aren’t for Christmas anyway?
I started by stamping the snowflakes from Snowflake Season all over a piece of white cardstock in VersaMark ink. I then embossed them with an iridescent glitter powder for all over sparkle. I blended Distress Oxide inks in Worn Lipstick, Scattered Straw, Cracked Pistachio, and Peacock Feathers for a pretty rainbow ombre sky, then used a white gel pen to add more snow flecks. I trimmed the piece down a bit, then added it to a light grey card base.
I loved that little polar bear from Polar Party so much that I had to use him again for this winter scene. I stamped him along with the Christmas tree and colored both images with Copics before cutting them out with the matching dies. I added snow dots to the images as well, then added them both to the card with foam tape for dimension. To finish, I used a sentiment from the Snowy Sentiments freebie set that I embossed in white on black cardstock. I thought the “sparkle” in the sentiment was the perfect match for my glitter snowflakes!
Remember, you can grab this Snowy Sentiments set for yourself for free as a gift with any $60+ purchase! Just remember to add it to your cart! It is so worth it for the lovely script and variety of phrases!
