Pinkfresh Studio December 2021 Release Blog Hop

Hello friends! Today I am thrilled to once again be participating in a blog hop for a new release from Pinkfresh Studio! This release is full of the prettiest florals in stamps, dies, stencils, washi tape, and hot foil! There’s just so many options! I have created two cards featuring the new release to share with you all! Make sure to keep reading for more information on some special promotions and giveaways!

For my first card, I used the new In the Meadow set to create a leafy backdrop with a few florals. I started by stamping the large hanging leaves from In the Meadow in VersaMark ink, taking care not to get ink on the adjoining images. I embossed the image with gold powder, then cut the image with the largest Essentials: Diagonal Stitched Rectangle die. I added this panel to a dark blue card base to make it pop.

I stamped some of the smaller florals from In the Meadow in VersaMark ink and embossed them with gold as well. I used the matching In the Meadow stencils with Pinkfresh Studio inks to color the images in. The greens are Mint and Emerald City and the blues are Slumber and Stargazer. I cut the images out with the matching die and added them to the card, popping the floral up with foam tape for dimension. I cut the “thanks” from Scripted Greetings three times from dark blue cardstock and layered them for a dimensional sentiment. I added the rest of the sentiment from In the Meadow with VersaMark ink and embossed with gold. I finished this card with a scattering of white gems.

For my second card, I used a similar look with gold embossing, but on the card base instead of the background with the new Cosmos Bunch stamp.

I started this card by stamping the Cosmos Bunch stamp twice on either side of a piece of light peach cardstock in VersaMark ink. I embossed the images with gold and set the piece aside. I stamped the same Cosmos Bunch onto white Bristol smooth cardstock in Detail Black ink and cut it down with the smaller Essentials: Diagonal Stitched Rectangles die. I colored the image in with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers, sticking to peaches and golds to match the card base I created.

I blended a small amount of Peach Fuzz ink around the edges of my colored piece. I added a thin border of metallic gold cardstock, then attached it to my card base. I stamped a sentiment from Cosmos Bunch in VersaMark ink on black cardstock and embossed with white. I then added the strip to my card with foam tape. To finish, I added a few gold pearls around the front of the card for some extra shine.

Of course, to celebrate this new release, there’s a giveaway! Pinkfresh Studio is giving you the chance to win the entire new release! Just stop by their blog or YouTube to enter!
