Pretty Pink Posh May Release Blog Hop

Hello friends! Today is Day 3 of a blog hop celebrating Pretty Pink Posh’s newest release! This release is a mix of adorable items to make cards for your crafty besties along with some classic Pretty Pink Posh florals we all know and love.

For my card today, I decided to play with the new Spring Foliage dies. I have been really into floral cards lately and couldn’t wait to play with this set!

I started by using the new Pinstripe stencil on white cardstock with a light blending of Stormy Sky Distress Oxide ink. I wanted a very light, fade effect so I concentrated the most color along the edges. I splattered the background with some gold watercolor before trimming it down and adding it to a navy blue card base.

I used the new Spring Foliage dies on gold, white, and dark blue cardstock as well as some blue vellum. I kept my dies connected so I had piles of each color to play with. I created a random spray of flowers at a diagonal on my card, gluing them with a bit of liquid adhesive until I was satisfied with the look. I added a sentiment from the new Celebration Scripts set that I stamped on more navy cardstock and embossed with white. I finished with a sprinkling of Cornflower jewels for an extra bit of sparkle.

Thank you so much for hopping along and stopping at my blog! Make sure to leave a comment by 11:59 PM PST on May 22, 2022 for the chance to win a $25 gift certificate to the Pretty Pink Posh shop! 1. Hi, Ashley – What a knockout of a card!! I love that stripey stencil… it really makes excellent backgrounds. I love that your card has a “tight” color palette and the vellum and gold really make it special. The font of the PPP sentiment stamps has long been a fave of mine, and this sentiment set is terrific. Thanks for sharing your talent!!
I’d love to win…… there are so many great items from this release that I would love to order!
