Pinkfresh Studio August 2020 Stamp and Die Release Blog Hop

Hello everyone! Today I am so excited to be participating in the August release blog hop for Pinkfresh Studio! There are some GORGEOUS new products releasing today! If you are hopping along, you should have arrived from Anne Fiene’s blog.

I’ve created two lovely floral cards to share with you today! Make sure to read all the way to the bottom for details on how to win some great prizes from Pinkfresh Studio!

For my first card, I stamped the new Blushing Floral cling stamp in VersaMark ink on Neenah Solar White cardstock and embossed with gold. I used Copic markers to color the image. I decided to stick with one color for the flowers for this card, but I look forward to making a garden of colors in the future! For the blossoms, I used R22, R21, R30, and R000, and for the leaves, I used G24, G21, and G20.

I blended Pinkfresh Studio inks in Passion Fruit and Coral Reef from the Heartbeat bundle onto Lawn Fawn Apricot cardstock for an ombre effect. I die cut my Copic colored piece with a stitched rectangle die and added it to my ombre background. I used a sweet sentiment from the new You Can Change the World stamped in VersaMark and embossed in white. The script in this set is just beautiful. I am in love! I popped the sentiment up with foam tape and added a bit of messy gold thread beneath before finishing the card with a few iridescent jewels.

For my second card, I blended Pinkfresh Studio inks in Stargazer, Sapphire, and Blue Jay from the Starry Night bundle on Neenah Solar White cardstock.

I splattered gold acrylic paint across the background and heat set it. I cut the Colorblock Gradiating Stripes die from white cardstock and added the die cut to the top of my ink blended piece. A glue pen is super helpful for those tiny lines!

I stamped the flowers from Thankful for Friends in Pinkfresh Studio Detail Black. I love that this ink works with watercolor and Copics – no grabbing the wrong ink! I used my Copics to color the image. For the flowers, I used RV69, R56, RV34, R83, and RV11, and for the leaves and stems, I used G29, G28, G46, and G82. I cut the flowers out with the matching die and splattered them with more gold acrylic paint. I added the flowers to the card with a bit of messy gold thread underneath for more interest and shine. I finished with a sentiment from Thankful For Friends stamped in Stargazer ink.

To celebrate the new release, Pinkfresh Studio is offering two special shipping deals if you order from the website this week! Make sure you use the right code based on your location!
